The Mobile Premier Awards are the point of reference in startup premiers during the Mobile World Congress on February 15, 2010 in Barcelona and are organized in collaboration with some of the main networks in the industry including MobileMonday, Mobile Marketing Association (MMA), Mobile Entertainment Forum (MEF), MEX, MobileActive.org, Women 2.0 and the Women in Mobile Data Association.
Participation to these awards is free and open to any innovative startup with a mobile angle. To signup to this competition, simply create your company profile on dotopen.com and choose the award’s where you want to participate.
There have already been more than 200 submissions for the Mobile Premier Awards. Participation is free and open to any startup with a mobile angle. To sign up entrants simply need to create their own company profile on dotopen.com and select the awards they want to compete in. The Mobile Premier Awards 2010 include the following awards:
- MPA in Innovation – The best grassroots startup innovation chosen by their peers
in partnership with MobileMonday - MPA in Entertainment – The best startup in Mobile Entertainment
in partnership with the Mobile Entertainment Forum - MPA in User Experience – The best startup in Mobile User Experience
in partnership with MEX. - MPA in Social Change – The best startup using mobile for social change
in partnership with MobileActive.org - MPA in Female Entrepreneurship – The best woman-lead mobile startup
in partnership with Women 2.0 and the Women in Mobile Data Association
On 10th December, 2009 the Mobile Premier Awards announced an unprecedented partnership with the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) to sponsor the Best Start Up in Marketing category of its awards program. Taking place on February 15th 2010 during Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the Mobile Premier Awards are the largest open and global start up competition in the mobile industry. Organised in partnership with some of the industry’s biggest associations and communities, it provides the point of reference for the start up community at Mobile World Congress .
Under the terms of this partnership, the Mobile Marketing Association will grant the winning start up of the Mobile Premier Award in Marketing:
- a free one year European MMA membership, valued at $2,500
- a speaking slot at the 2010 Mobile Marketing Forum (MMF) Europe, the MMA’s flagship event for the entire mobile marketing ecosystem
- consultancy from one or more MMA global board members with experience in start ups
- presence on the MMA website, including the posting of a case study of the winner’s work
