Seit langer Zeit bin ich begeisterte Nutzerin von Spinvox, einem Voice-to-Text-Service, der mir Nachrichten auf meiner Mobilbox in Text umwandelt und mir als SMS und Email zuschickt. Leider ist Spinvox immer noch nicht als flächendeckender Service in Deutschland verfügbar, aber in UK, dem Heimatland von Spinvox schon. Und dort hat Spinvox eine originelle Idee realisiert und einen “Wunschbrunnen” in den Covent Garden in London gestellt.
SpinVox have created “The Wishing Well”, which lets visitors speak their wishes in to their mobile and have it auto-converted to text. The wishes then get projected across the inner walls of the wishing well in real time – quite a dramatic effect I should imagine! To leave a wish, visitors call 0207 818 0880, and the call charges are local rate.
The Well itself is a 7.2m high, triangular structure apparently, opening from 10am-11pm, right through until the 5th Jan! It’s part of the Covent Garden “Christmas Delight”, which is a programme of events based around the popular location. Quelle
