Kostenfreier Email-Push Dienst emoze jetzt auch für Google Mail

Schon im März 2007 hatte ich über den kostenlosen Email-Push Dienst emoze berichtet. Dass eine solche Lösung von großem Interesse ist sieht man daran, dass dieser Beitrag bei mir auf Platz 21 der "Most Read" Liste ist.

Emoze hat bekannt gegeben, dass ihr für den Nutzer kostenfreier Email-Push Dienst, nach Microsoft Outlook und Lotus Notes, nun auch für Google Mail / Gmail Konten funktioniert.

Emoze already offers a free push e-mail service to a broad range of email data sources and mobile device operating systems, and can be easily installed on more than 800 different devices. Emoze points out that its service is a true push solution that does not require users’ mobile devices to periodically dial-out and check for the receipt of new messages, calendar or contact changes. Instead, Emoze automatically acts to route emails to users’ handsets in real-time after determining that their device is connected and available on the network.
The application can be downloaded direct to Windows- and Symbian-based mobile devices, and uses the device’s native built-in inbox.
